Girls on the Run 5K

I was able to be part of an amazing morning this past Sunday. Girls on the Run - Maine "inspires girls to be joyful, healthy and confident using a fun, experience-based curriculum which creatively integrates running." Girls on the Run had their 5K road race at Cumberland Fair Grounds and it was great!! All of these girls (along with their running buddies, families, and volunteers) were having a blast. The pre-race was filled with fun activities for the girls to get them excited for the race. The excitement on the race course was great!!! So many wonderful kids and adults running and having fun that I couldn't help but try to take as many pictures of these kids as I could! Here are just a handful of them!!!
