Fun at-home lifestyle session ~ Maine Family Photographer

There is something so special about at home sessions, especially with a 4 and 2 year old. Two weeks ago I spent the morning with one of my favorite families in Pownal, ME. I photographed the whole family last summer but this time was all about the kids. Annabelle and Oliver are growing so fast and changing all the time that their mom just wanted to capture this moment in time. So that's what we did. We let them play, eat, run around, eat some more and just be them. When there is no direction you get a glimpse into their personalities and what they loved at that moment in time. You will forget that they never took off their favorite ballet shoes, or that they were obsessed with a doll from mom's childhood, or that just sharing gold fish was fun. Being able to look at pictures of them doing simple things like this 10 or 30 years from now is such a gift. Take time out of your crazy life to capture the small stuff, you will thank yourself!!!
