Maine Island Family Session ~ Islesboro, Maine ~ Patience Cleveland Photography

I love meeting families that are raising their children on Islesboro year round. Islesboro is an Island in Penobscot Bay close to Camden and Linconville. It is such a special Island to everyone that lives and visits here but there's something special about kids that grow up on and Island!

The rain, fog and humidity didn't stop us from having fun during this family session. The foggy Maine coast made for a wonderful backdrop for our morning. It was so great meeting Laura and her husband Matt along with their two kids, Emma and Will! They live on Islesboro year-round so they wanted to have their pictures done on the beach right by their house, Emma calls it "her" beach!! Since it was low tide we had lots of rocks, puddles and seaweed to play with!! Morning shoots are great for little ones because they are usually ready to go and it didn't take long for Emma to ham it up for the camera! Will on the other hand whet between laughing and serious but was pretty cute either way. We also took a walk across the street to the path that leads back to their house and the kids picked some blueberries along the way. I so enjoyed meeting this family and loves playing around with them for the morning. Enjoy the highlights from our session!
