Family Documentary Session ~ Maine Family Photographer ~ Patience Cleveland Photography

I was so excited to once again photograph this wonderful family. With a couple family portrait sessions and one other documentary session under my belt with these guys I knew we'd have a fun morning! Documentary sessions are very different from my family portrait sessions and are quickly becoming my favorite sessions. These sessions are longer (can vary from 4-12 hours) and have zero input from me. I love to take my time observing everyone and capturing those special moments that are gone in a heartbeat.

So last Saturday I arrived at Caitlin and John's house in Pownal, ME at 7am ready to tell a little piece of their families story. With two little ones the morning was in full swing when I arrived and stayed that way until I left right before lunch time. They spent time in the playroom, doing projects, baking bread, a quick trip outside and everything in-between!

It just melts my heart looking at these pictures knowing that this family will cherish them forever. There's something to be said about looking back at photographs like these and saying "oh, remember when Oliver loved that vacuum and cried when we had to take it away from him!"

Thank You John and Caitlin for once again letting me capture your wonderful family.
