Beautiful extended family session at Higgins Beach ~ Maine ~ Patience Cleveland Photography

Every year we try a new location or something a little different with this crew. We tried Higgins Beach once and it was so foggy we couldn't see 10 feet away! That was still a great session and great foggy memories. But this year we decided to head back to Higgins but for a very special reason. Caitlin's parents rented a house at Higgins for a week this year and this beach and area mean so much to them that we decided we had to give it another go. At first we canceled the session for forecasted rain, but the day of the weather cleared so session was back on! I am so happy everyone was willing to jump into the session and we had the most beautiful warm evening. A good session is one that ended in the water and half of us definitely went home needing a change of clothes. It was beyond special grandparents (Mimi and Grampa) were able to join us and their laughter and love just shined through during our session. It is one of my favorite things to capture is an older generation with the younger - memories that you'll never forget and now will be able to look back on for year to come!
